Role: Scottish Organiser
Salary:
£35,758.78 (gross) per annum, with an annual fixed sum allowance of £2453
Duration:
Fixed term contract until 15th March 2019
Location: Scottish Labour Party office in Glasgow

The Labour Party is looking to recruit an organiser to be based in its Head Office in Glasgow.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of the Labour Party’s aims and objectives, supporting the policies and work of the official opposition and empowering local campaigning units and their members to organise and campaign in their local communities.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of campaigning techniques, the ability to organise events such as training events, the ability to organise and motivate a group of volunteers, and the ability to organise an election campaign.

Role: Policy Development Officer (Scotland)
Location: House of Commons, London
Salary: £35,995.17 (gross) per annum, inclusive of London Weighting, with a fixed sum allowance of £1060
Duration: 12-month fixed term contract

The Labour Party is seeking to recruit a Policy Development Officer (Scotland) to join our policy team.

The post-holder will develop policy and support the policy making process for the Labour Party in Scotland, with a view to producing policy recommendations, position papers and policy briefings.

The successful candidate will have an excellent knowledge of Labour Party policy and policy development processes, experience of preparing written and verbal briefings, excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills and excellent attention to detail.

The Labour Party is seeking to recruit a Constitutional Policy Officer (Scotland) to join our policy team.

The post-holder will develop, research and support constitutional policy for the Labour Party in Scotland with a view to producing policy recommendations, position papers and policy briefings.

The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of recent Scottish Political history and the challenges facing the UK constitutional arrangements post Brexit, experience of preparing written and verbal briefings, experience of political research and excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
