Annual Conference

The next Scottish Labour Party conference will take place in Glasgow from Friday 21 February to Sunday 23 February 2025.

When Scottish Labour Conference last met there were only two Labour MPs in Scotland, the Tories were still in power across the UK and people were struggling after a decade of austerity.

That’s why people across Scotland voted for change and for a Labour Government that has ended austerity and is delivering for working people across the country.

We now have 37 Scottish Labour MPs – serving as ministers in Whitehall, parliamentarians in Westminster and champions in their local communities. They are at the heart of the Labour Government giving Scotland a voice and maximising our influence.

The message from voters at the general election was clear – Scotland needs change. Change from 14 years of chaos and failure from the Tories and the £22billion black hole in the finances, but also change from 17 years of SNP incompetence that has seen billions wasted and put our NHS in crisis.

Labour has started work delivering on our promises. We are giving a pay rise to the lowest paid Scots by increasing the minimum wage and we’re extending the cut to fuel duty, keeping the cost of journeys down for Scottish motorists. We’ve started work on creating GB Energy, which will lower household bills, improve energy security and be based here in Scotland.

The work to rebuild our country has only just started and in 2026 we will have the Scottish Parliament election and the opportunity to deliver a change of direction for Scotland.

A new direction for our NHS – to make it fit for the future, a new direction for our education system, a new direction that will deliver growth in our economy and strengthen our local services.

Together we can take our country in a new direction – join us and help us continue to deliver the change Scotland needs.
